Why This Guide Works
I had severe eczema for as long as I could remember.
But it was at its worst in my mid 20s. Then came the inflamed itchy rashes all over my body that started to take over my life.
It affected my confidence, my relationships with peers, my romantic relationships and even my family. At that time I was so ashamed of my skin.
There were so many moments spent crying on the floor praying I'd get some kind of lasting relief. Your skin may not be this severe but if you can relate at all to this feeling and the experience of having severe skin issues, keep reading.
I couldn't take it anymore.
I don't mean to be dramatic or dark but that's the place I was in with my skin before I healed it. I was willing to do anything, even stick a biweekly shot into my thigh that was so painful and gave me an allergic reaction (Dupixent). I would do anything for lasting relief.
I had oozing rashes. Flaky skin. I hated looking in the mirror. It was agony. I'm being frank because I know someone out there can relate to what I went through. I want to be the voice that I wish I had when I was in the depths of my suffering.
My skin was at its worst.
I searched everywhere for resources and support groups around this topic and while I did find some helpful information, there wasn't much I could actually relate to and it definitely wasn't all in one place. I scoured the internet for years about eczema and that is no exaggeration.
Ultimately, I wanted to clear my skin for good and I didn't want to be dependent on a shot, a steroid, a pill or anything unnatural long term. These short fixes were all saving graces for me in certain moments, and I think there's a time and circumstance where they can be vital.
But I knew if I wanted to really change the outcome of my skin, I would have to dig deeper.
I knew my body was telling me that something wasn't right and something was off balance within. I could feel it. When my skin got to its worse point, I felt physically sick and my body was drained from the severe breakouts I was experiencing from head to toe. Physically and mentally.
The constant itch was unbearable, and no matter what I tried, nothing was working. I was embarrassed, frustrated, and desperate for a solution. I was taking out my pain and hiding from shame in my relationship, my friendships. My happiness and simple things like going swimming became daunting and a source of extreme anxiety. People didn't understand what was wrong with me - so I hid it.
I'd get disgusted or extremely concerned reactions from people who did see my breakouts. I felt like an outcast and like I had to hide away from everyone and everything. I had no desire to be seen. This is the reality of life with severe eczema for a lot of people.
Dealing with Eczema Can Feel Like an Endless Battle. But It Doesn’t Have to Rule Your Life.
If you're still reading this, you probably know the feeling all too well. Or maybe you love someone that does. The flare-ups that come out of nowhere, endless scratching leaving your skin raw and uncomfortable. The frustration of trying countless treatments that promise relief but never seem to work long term. Searching for hours online for miracle products and cures and spending way too much money on products that promise results. Trying and failing. Having hope, getting relief, the suffering from another chronic breakout that starts the cycle all over again.
You might feel embarrassed or self-conscious about how your skin looks, like I did. It can make it hard to enjoy simple, everyday moments.
Your eczema also may not be as severe as mine was, but something that happened to me over time was it got worse. Way worse.
I spent years in and out of dermatologist offices, trying every cream, ointment, and steroid treatment they recommended. But nothing worked consistently. Worse, some treatments left my skin worse off than ever before.
As the years went on the severity of the disease and the severity of my breakouts worsened.
I remember a turning point when I started taking Dupixent, a biweekly shot that did clear my eczema. . . until it started wearing off and I was due for another costly shot ($3,000 each without insurance).
When it wore off, my eczema would come raging back, head to toe, like never before. It was so severe I couldn't sleep some nights. I lie awake crying and in pain, frustrated with God and always wondering Why Me?
Why was this awful skin disease my fate? What did I do to deserve this?
It might seem dramatic, but this is the state I was in and reflected the amount of pain and sickness I was going through at the time.
I got the answers to all of those questions and more when I finally decided to stop the band aid methods and "cures" and commit to actually changing my life and getting to the root of conquering this disease.
I was fortunate to have a sister who has suffered from eczema as well and could relate. Through her support, prompting, and my years of research and break throughs in the trials and errors I experimented with, I slowly but consistently cleared my skin.
This was a turning point and the part in the story where my life began to change.
I was so incredibly frustrated, I turned that frustration into a fire that forged the way forward. It gave me the commitment and dedication it took to uncover this protocol.
There were so many ups and downs when going through the process because I had no guarantee that any of it would work and only blind faith that I was truly on to something and I could actually manage my eczema and clear my skin long term.
I had a deep intuition and a lot of research and science to back up the way I moved forward. It wasn't without tons of challenges and uncertainty, but I made strides that allowed me to keep going and keep healing.
I wrote this guide so you don't have to go through the same exhausting search for answers.

If I had this resource when I was at my lowest moment, I know it would have given me hope and perspective. Also someone that truly understood what I was going through. It has some of the information that a lot of us already know about eczema like:
- Your Diet Matters
- Things like Alcohol, Smoking etc. are probably making things worse
- The products you use and their ingredients are important
- Stress can make your breakouts worse
- Irritants and allergies affect your eczema
Then there is the information that absolutely no one told me about when I was seeking help and support. I had to learn it by going through it. Things like:
- There are specific vitamins and supplements that can make a huge difference in your skin health (with science to back it up - no gimmicks and no trying to sell you on things you don't need)
- Your environment and what you're surrounded by is crucial to support your healing
- Fiber and regularity is incredibly important for skin and bodily health and can be a major component in clearing your skin
- Your mental health is directly linked to your physical health and you have to address it (if you're struggling or avoiding)
- There are ingredients backed by science and years of success that can give you eczema relief - ignore the zillions of advertisements and "cures".
- The global atopic dermatitis drugs market size is expected to reach USD 29.88 billion by 2030.
Eczema is on the rise. In the United States alone over 31 million people suffer from eczema.
According to the National Eczema association 1 in 10 people around the globe suffer from eczema. People of all skin colors, races and ethnicities are affected by eczema.
I didn't know a lot of this before I began my protocol. It enlightened me to a few things that we already know but became incredibly real when I was suffering:
- There is an entire industry out there selling products, medicines and "cures" to get your money, and a lot of it doesn't work long term.
- While I do believe there is not a one size fits all approach to healing skin issues, the market and internet is flooded with magical cures, tricks, and overnight remedies that claim to heal you. I found a lot of it to be false for me.
- You can't address this disease overnight or even within a week, it takes commitment and lifestyle changes if you really want long term lasting relief. That's the case with most good things in life. Which was a lesson I've had to learn with my eczema but also in life through other challenges.
There are so many challenges you face even when attempting to heal eczema. I've been through all of it. Thankfully I also kept a close record of what I did that worked for me and what didn't work and every bit of nuance in between.
There came a moment in my healing when I knew that I went through the darkness and the trials of the severity of my disease, so that I could help other people that were suffering too.
It came to me one night before I had even cleared my skin, but I had some progress that gave me some hope. Even though my healing wasn't linear.
I saw a beautiful flower that had wilted parts on its petals. It wasn't perfect but it was still so beautiful and it smelled incredible. The fragrance carried and couldn't be ignored. It reminded me of myself.
I had so much to give and so much value that I had forgotten about and let get overshadowed by my disease. But my worth was always there and my value existed even when my skin was full of painful rashes and I felt like a freak. That flower, that smelled amazing, was a reminder that even though I wasn't perfect, I was still so worthy.
I decided then if I ever healed my skin, I wanted to help someone along the way in whatever way I could.
In that moment I knew I wanted to be a source of inspiration for someone, anyone, even just one person. Even though I hadn't healed yet.
I kid you not, right after this, a perfect flower fell right onto my shirt from a nearby tree. No tarnished or crumpled ends. Just clear, smooth, petals. I took it as a sign that I was on my way to healing and that I was on the right path. I also knew when I was given this journey to help others, and if I were to clear my skin, I owed it other people that suffer from this to share how I did it.
I developed a clear and thorough yet concise protocol. It's based on four principles of:
- Addressing your diet
- Adding supplements and nutrients that are vital to your healing
- Using specific body care products that are going to support your healing
- Addressing your mental health, clarity and your environment
This protocol goes into depth about each of these topics without overwhelming you with information. I link to scientific studies by renowned health institutions (think Harvard Health, Cleveland Clinic, National Institute of Heath) even the protocol is mostly holistic and natural (some products and vitamin support is included). All of the holistic methods, supplements and products that worked in this protocol are backed up by real science, which was important to me.
I like natural remedies and little chemical intervention when it's possible. Though when my eczema was at it's worse, I was willing to try ANYTHING.
I'm not a proponent of taking medication you don't need or buying things that don't really work to band aid your issues. I also believe in science and modern medicine.
Science backed methods were key in my healing journey and it was fascinating to understand why things were working, what studies had been done and what I could expect based on extensive trials and research with certain parts of the protocol. Natural healing is backed by science too. Though you should always consult your doctor when making changes to your diet and lifestyle.
This deep dive into the evidence behind the protocol doesn't interest everyone but for those that it does, it's all linked thoroughly throughout the guide carefully and without making false promises of a miracle fix or promising specific results.
All of that to say.
My eczema hasn't come back since.
Me, finally eczema free and working as a commercial model in Nashville, TN.
It still pains me a bit to look at the images below because it takes me right back to those moments, crying on my floor, praying for relief and for an answer. It sounds dramatic, but my skin was in such bad condition I was emotionally and physically damaged and distraught. Like I've said, your eczema may not be as severe as mine was, or maybe you can relate.
Regardless, you might just be ready for relief.
Like I've said, it doesn’t have to be this way. Severe eczema doesn’t have to control your life. There is hope—there are solutions—especially ones that don’t involve harsh steroids, shots, or expensive treatments.
What if You Could Take Control of Your Eczema Naturally?
Take a moment to imagine waking up every day to calm, smooth, clear skin. No more spending time consistently applying ointments. No more hiding breakouts with long sleeves, turtle necks, pants in 90 degree weather. No more wondering if this flare-up will last weeks, months, or longer. Or wondering if this disease is a life sentence.
What if you didn’t have to spend another day in frustration, searching for the right product, or struggling with flare-ups that never seem to end? What if you could break free from the endless cycle of harsh treatments, temporary fixes, and self-consciousness?
There is a way. And it starts with embracing approaches that truly get to the root of eczema. That’s what I discovered on my journey.
The Truth About Eczema and Your Skin: The Connection You Need to Understand
Eczema is not just a surface-level skin problem—it’s a deeper issue with your overall health. The truth is, eczema is often a reflection of what’s going on inside your body, and addressing it requires more than just topical treatments. There are many types of eczema and many different triggers. There are often many contributing factors that must be addressed.
- The Role of Your Gut: Your digestive system plays a massive role in your skin health. Many people with eczema have sensitivities or imbalances in their gut microbiome, which can trigger skin flare-ups. Improving your gut health can lead to noticeable improvements in your skin.
- Your Immune System: Eczema is, in many ways, affected by your immune system. Understanding how to support your immune function—without overloading it with chemicals or harsh treatments—can be helpful in reducing flare-ups.
- Stress and Skin Health: Stress is a well-known trigger for eczema, but managing it is also a key part of the healing process. Learning to manage stress through lifestyle changes and mindfulness can significantly impact your eczema.
- The Impact of Lifestyle Choices: Things like diet, skincare routine, and even sleep play a huge role in eczema flare-ups. Simple changes can make a massive difference in the health of your skin.
